How Adult Trauma Effects the Classroom- Two-Part Series

Attendees will learn how adult trauma and complex emotions can impact interactions with children. We'll do a refresher on the impact of trauma in the body and briefly discuss how patterns of trauma and trauma response can be passed down between generations. We'll then explore how adults and children co-regulate with one another and I will introduce the concepts of mirror neurons and polyvagel theory. This training is for the beginning teacher, new to Ebenezer or the teacher who needs a curriculum planning refresher.  Early childhood curriculum focuses on building relationships, developing physical skills, and teaching developmentally appropriate practices.  This training will provide you with ideas and activities to enhance your classroom. This class is only for Ebenezer employees.
