The purpose of this learning track is to deepen the book study participant's understanding of the power of the current early childhood topics. This will give educators an opportunity to discuss what they are learning and to apply it to their context and space. As they critically reflect on their practice in meaningful and relevant ways, this professional learning experience can be transformative.  Book to be used will be based on interest of those participating. The single best way to address challenging behaviors in young children today is to take steps to make sure that they never occur. While there is no universal magic wand for preventing challenging behaviors, there are several early intervention strategies that prevent challenging behaviors. These strategies include: (a) knowing yourself and your temperament, (b) scheduling, and (c) implementing rules, rituals, and routines.  In this training gain strategies and resources to help in classroom management and help be more proactive with children with challenging behaviors. All participants must attend all 4 parts to receive registry credit. This training is both instructional and participatory for all attendees.  The attendees will learn and practice skills in CPR and First Aid for Infants, Children, and Adults.  This training will prepare the attendee to be able to utilize the skills necessary to effectively respond in an emergency situation.  The Trainer is certified by the American Red Cross Association. This training is only for Ebenezer employees.
