Ebenezer’s Virtues of the Month Program is about empowering adults and children to live by their highest values. The mission of the Virtues Program is to provide empowering strategies of excellence that inspire the practice of virtues at Ebenezer Child Care Centers as well as at home. This month’s Virtues are Tolerance and Respect:
Tolerance is being open to differences. It is refraining from judgements, and having patience and forgiveness with others and ourselves. It is accepting things that we wish were different with humor and grace.
Respect is an attitude of honoring oneself and others through our words and actions. It is treating every person with dignity and courtesy.
