Ebenezer’s Virtues of the Month Program is about empowering adults and children to live to their highest values. There are 52 virtues in the program. Its mission is to provide empowering strategies of excellence that inspire the practice of virtues at Ebenezer Child Care Centers as well as at home. This month’s virtues are:
Understanding is when you concentrate and pay close attention. Reflect on the meaning of the thing. See the whole picture. Resist distractions. Put yourself in other people’s shoes and forgive others and yourself when you make mistakes.
Unity helps us work and live together peacefully. We feel connected with each other and all living things. We value the specialness of each person as a gift, not as a reason to fight or be scared. With unity we accomplish more together than any one of us could alone.
